Do you want to get in shape, but you dont know where to start?  Here are my 5 Steps to Getting in Shape!  This will prepare you for meeting with a fitness consultant, your personal fitness trainer or doctor and set you up for getting in shape with McAllen's Best Personal Trainers, Isaac Medina and The Body Engineer Team.

  1. The Body Composition Scan - this is just one way of measuring progress, but a good one.  The body composition meansures, bodyfat percentage, muscle mass, water and much more.  Some scans even provide a 3D image of your body and actual measurements of your waist, hips, thighs, chest and more.  It sets up the foundation and baseline for your progress.  Set-up a 15min call with me and I can help you find a location in your area to get a body composition.
     
  2. Get your Bloodwork - You would need to see your doctor to get blood drawn and tested for vitamin deficiancy, homone imbalances, thyroid, glucose, kidney, liver function and much more.  Is it necessary to have it when you visit me?  No, but its highly recommended.  If you have struggled with wieght loss in the past and you are not sure what is happening, get you bloodwork done as soon as possible!
     
  3. Take Pictures - This is a must for everyone.  Take pictures.  This is another way of measuring progress!  It does so much for you and its probably hard for many to see the reality of their situation.   The ability to see yourself, "How you are" is a wake up call.  Have someone hold the camera or station it where you have good lighting.  Also, use the same undies when taking your bi-weekly pictures.  Your face is optional.
     
  4.
